Daily sound baths, singing-bowl certification courses, and handmade Himalayan instruments — from a small studio in the pines above McLeod Ganj.
Sound healing is a practice older than recorded history — used by Australian Aboriginal communities with the didgeridoo for over 40,000 years, by Egyptian priests with harps and sistrums, and by Pythagoras, who studied how tone and mathematics could restore balance to the body and soul.
At Buddha Blessings, tucked into the hillside of Dharamkot, Dharamshala, we work in that same lineage — Tibetan singing bowls, gongs and the Indian tradition of Nada Yoga — to help visitors release stress, clear emotional blockages, and settle into deep, cellular rest.
Every cell in the body carries its own vibrational frequency. Illness and stress unbalance it; sound, applied with intention, helps restore it.
Vibration doesn't stop at the ear. It travels through tissue, muscle and bone — the same way you feel a bassline in your chest — and it speaks directly to the nervous system.
Sound waves move through skin, muscle and cells, gently loosening what stress has held tight.
Low resonant tones stimulate the vagus nerve, easing the body out of fight-or-flight and into rest-and-digest.
Gong tones guide the brain from alert beta waves toward theta and delta — the states linked to healing and deep sleep.
A single sound bath measurably lowers cortisol and quiets mental chatter.
Theta and delta states carry into the night, supporting deeper, more restorative rest.
Immersive sound invites the nervous system to soften into stillness and rest.
Held daily from 11:00am–2:15pm in our Dharamkot studio, this hands-on course trains you to hold a full sound bath — from Tibetan bowls and gongs to group facilitation.
Drop in for a group sound bath, book a private session, or join the 5-Day course — every weekday, in our Dharamkot studio.
